Are real humans reading the stories?
Yes. We work 100% with human translators and narrators. We do not use AI voices or AI translations. Children deserve to hear real emotion, cultural nuance, and clear pronunciation as they build language and social skills. We also prioritize supporting and fairly paying our partners and friends who help us, including skilled refugees who depend on our work to support their families.
What age is Luma Library for?
Luma is primarily designed for early learners and children ages 3–8. However, our leveled reading system allows learners of all ages (including adult learners) to start with simple picture books and progress to longer, more complex narratives, grammar and vocabulary as they grow.
